When will the CISMUN IX conference take place?
CISMUN IX will take place over the course of 3 days from February 10, 2023 to February 12, 2023.
Where is the conference taking place?
CISMUN will be an in-person conference hosted within the Canadian International School campus in Bangalore, India. For directions click here.
What format does the CISMUN conference follow?
CISMUN follows The Hague International Model United Nations (THIMUN) format.
When do registrations for CISMUN IX close?
Registrations for CISMUN VIII will close by Friday, December 17, 2022.
“I am a beginner to Model UN, can I still join the conference?”
Yes! Delegates of all levels are allowed to attend the CISMUN conference.

Does CISMUN IX require position papers?
Yes. Each delegate must submit just one position paper covering both agendas. Position papers are mandatory for delegates to be considered for awards. Position papers are due on February 6th, 2023

Will internet access be permitted throughout the conference?
Yes, internet access will be permitted for use during conference times. The school will provide wifi, however, delegates and student officers are expected to comply with digital etiquette and responsible device behavior. VPN use will not be tolerated.
Can I register as an individual delegate?
Yes.
What is the registration fees for each delegate?
1800 INR - This fee covers meals provided by the school, social night costs and merchandise.
What are awards that delegates can receive?
​There are 4 awards in each committee, a delegate can receive one of the following;
